Her "wall" isn't even a wall (though they don't call it a wall even though it looks like one), they could have made it a circle and it would be fine and much more practical to use. The Hadoken feels nice and doesn't need to be changed but yeah doing something with her fireballs to make it so wisps and the like aren't forcing you to jump up and melee them with flamethrower if you miss one shot. Her LMB and RMB are the same thing just different cooldown, damage, and colour. You can keep the whole "no defensive option" as a unique trait -īut I agree that her abilities are just different ways of doingdamage and really do seem uninspired. What I was trying to say is that if you find her boring that's fine, but just because you don't enjoy a character's playstyle doesn't mean they need to be reworked. Your critical analysis on how she's not a boring class with nothing to do but spam damage abilities is that having nothing to do but spam damage abilities is what makes her not boring. Really have no idea what you mean by 'uninspired'.

She is unique in the sense that she doesn't have a get out of jail free card like Commando, Mercenary, and Huntress do. Ironically, giving Artificer a defensive ability/escape would remove her uniqueness. She deals insane damage by balancing the cooldowns of her abilities and constantly being active. Ice wall is fine as it is, and while it's a bad defensive move, she doesn't need the defense. She is the glass cannon class of the game, in more ways than one. While the other classes have like mobility and different effects and such which they use to survive and be interesting to play as. So she's just meant to be the class where you just spam abilities to deal a bunch of damage and that's really all you do. Currently she seems to be really uninspired, her abilities are all just different ways of dealing damage.
